The Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time orthopaedic surgeon with a background in musculoskeletal tumor surgery and total joints. Appointment will be at the assistant professor level. Applicants must have an MD degree, be fellowship trained in musculoskeletal tumor surgery with an interest in surgical management of primary and metastatic tumors of bone, soft tissue sarcoma surgery, prosthetic and allograft joint and limb reconstructions, total joint replacement surgery of the hip and the knee, as well as clinical and research opportunities related to our partnership with a large regional tissue bank and a nationally-known transplant program. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching and will be expected to establish a clinical or basic science research program.
