Process cash receipts, prepare bank deposits, disburse funds and provide customer service.
Use specialized equipment and specifically outlined procedures to prepare change orders and perform deposit verification Prepare and maintain record of funds received, distributed, and transferred
Assist internal customers by answering inquiries and providing information as necessary.
Monitor changes and requirements from service areas.
Maintain and/or enforce security procedures to ensure safety of funds.
Verify, disburse and reconcile cash funds.
Prepare cash bags for armored car delivery.
Prepare cash bank deposits.
Operate 10-key calculator and Microsoft Office programs.
May perform clerical duties such as preparing mail, answering telephones, filing, and typing reports.
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent AND eighteen months of fiscally-related work such as bank teller or retail salesclerk or equivalent education/experience.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may substitute for required qualifications.
Prior experience working in a bank vault of cash office area.
This is a temporary position (February through mid-June). Other assignments may be available but not guaranteed.
Condition of Employment:
A satisfactory outcome from criminal background check is required prior to hire.
A satisfactory outcome from the reference check process.
Ability to bend, squat, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, sit, push, and pull.
Unrestricted wrist, hand, and finger dexterity.
Ability to work in an enclosed area with no visibility to outdoors and periodic high noise levels.
This position will work a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
